Every fall, we look forward to connecting with our key vendors, sponsors, and members to discuss the innovation of healthcare. At the 12th annual DV/NJHIMSS event, held on October 23-25, 2019, we welcomed 600-plus vendors, sponsors, and members to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
NJHIMSS 2019 Spring Event: “Patient Comfort in the Cloud”
Our chapter’s annual spring event was a huge success! We held the event on June 5-6, at the Ocean Plaza Resort and Spa located in Long Branch, New Jersey.
We kicked off day one by welcoming key sponsors, vendors, providers, and members with a special networking reception that included exceptional food and an open bar. The second day of the spring event was filled with informative sessions, panel discussions, and networking. Former Chapter President, Jennifer D’Angelo, gave a farewell to outgoing Board members and helped welcome in the new Board members with incoming Chapter President, Nina DiQuollo.
Recapping Our Odyssey to HIMSS 2019
Last month the annual HIMSS Global Conference & Exhibition took place in Orlando. The NJHIMSS team was pleased to join over 45,000 health information and technology professionals, clinicians, executives and market suppliers from around the world. It is one of the industry’s largest shows, if not the largest.
Here is a brief recap of what took place at the show. This year, there was a heavy emphasis on interoperability and cybersecurity.

Our chapter’s annual winter event was a huge success! We held the event on January 22, 2019 at the Forsgate Country Club located in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
We kicked off the event by welcoming key sponsors, vendors, and members during our networking reception with excellent food and an open bar. After the buffet dinner, the round table panel discussion kicked off, represented by leading hospital and health system chief information officers and executives.
