Highlights from the NJDVHIMSS 2025 Fall Conference: Driving Innovation and Collaboration in Healthcare

The 18th Annual NJDVHIMSS Fall Conference took place November 4–6, 2025, bringing together healthcare leaders, providers, and vendors at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. With the theme of driving innovation and collaboration, the conference offered attendees a mix of educational sessions, interactive panels, and networking opportunities designed to explore emerging trends, digital transformation, and operational improvements across the healthcare landscape.

Day One – Golf Outing at Ballamor Golf Club

The conference kicked off on Tuesday, November 4th, with a golf outing at Ballamor Golf Club. The event saw strong participation from attendees and sponsors alike, providing a relaxed setting for networking ahead of the conference sessions. The day opened with a keynote session exploring the role of digital transformation in modern healthcare, highlighting how AI, telehealth, and data-driven solutions are helping providers improve outcomes while reducing clinician burden.

Throughout the day, attendees participated in panel discussions and breakout sessions that featured real-world insights from clinical, operational, and IT leaders. Topics included aligning digital strategy with organizational needs, applying AI in clinical and population health settings, navigating cybersecurity challenges, and improving post-acute care coordination. A key theme that emerged across sessions was the importance of collaboration, trust, and thoughtful implementation to drive successful innovation.

Day Three – Leadership Panels and Closing Keynote

Day three focused on technology leadership and the future of digital transformation across the region. The morning opened with a panel featuring CIOs and senior IT leaders from Penn Medicine, AtlantiCare, Cooper Health, Delaware Valley Community Health, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Panelists discussed how their organizations are leveraging AI, data interoperability, cloud strategy, and cybersecurity to modernize operations and support patient-centered care, while also highlighting the growing importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping healthcare’s digital future.

The conference concluded with a keynote from Kathleen Hart, BS, Paramedic, CHEP, whose four-decade career in emergency medical services reflects a deep commitment to public health, preparedness, and community service. Her closing remarks brought the event to a meaningful finish, underscoring the value of leadership, resilience, and coordinated response in today’s healthcare environment.
